Welcome!

Our soon-to-be-published book, Reinventing Project-Based Learning: Your Field Guide to Real-World Projects in the Digital Age, looks at where project-based learning is heading with the help of 21st-century technology tools. It's a fast-changing scene. This blog offers a place to continue and expand on the rich conversations we've had during the book research phase. Please join us!

Hi. I have a blog about blooks. It looks as though your blog was set up to continue the conversation started by your book. However, it also looks as though the web might have been the source, at least in part, for the book. Which, according to Lulu's Blooker Prize competition definition, makes it a blook. Could you drop me note and let me know? Thanks.

Hi Cheryl,
Not sure we qualify as blook authors--just yet. We started with the book, then created the blog to continue the dialogue and (we hope) build a community around digital-age projects.
One challenge with a book is keeping up with technology tools, which emerge faster than paper editions can be updated. Our book has an Appendix on Essential Learning Functions with Digital Tools, and we plan to house the most current version of that on the blog. I guess that makes our hot-swappable Appendix a blook, right?
If we wind up doing a second edition or a related book, contents could well emerge from the blog!
Thanks for your interest.
